Business Development Consultant
This job was about working the CRM of the dealership by handling the inbound leads. My primary goal was to convert a lead into an appointment. This taught me a lot about CRM’s and how they’re structured. It also taught me a lot about leads; especially best practices, do’s and don’ts, lead quality, lead sources, and more.
Internet Marketing Advisor
This job was about prospecting and closing deals for the small legal market. Prosites provides digital marketing services to them. It’s a cookie cutter service and therefore on the cheaper side.
Business & Marketing Associate
A sister company of Prosites, Nifty is also legal marketing, but for larger firms that have bigger budgets and want custom strategies. My role was to essentially be the sales guys right hand man – setting appointments, doing market research and putting together proposals. This taught me a lot about how to analyze markets and businesses more thoroughly and how to take a more holistic approach.

My role here as director means that I’m building all of the sites, but also building the systems and SOP’s for how we handle projects for years to come.

This is a venture that started as an agency focused on home service businesses specifically. While I did have some success, I decided to pivot and convert it into a SaaS, automating the process of web design & seo for its users.

WordPress
This is the CMS that runs it all. Although you can find many dated features/systems within WordPress, as a whole it is still the best CMS currently available.
HappyFiles
WordPress’s media manager is still terrible all these years later, so HappyFiles is a non-negotiable for me. Built by the same team that made Bricks, and its quality reflects that. It provides a quick way to organize most anything within the platform.
Rank Math
This one is simple—it’s the SEO plugin I started with and never found a reason to switch. It handles the basic meta title/description needs, OG image data, etc. Free to use.
WS Form
Although there are many form builders, WS Form is special because it extends functionality far beyond the others on the market. It provides a ton of integration/flexibility to use variables, hidden inputs, conditions, actions and more. When you really use a CMS the way you’re supposed to, you need a form that can support it.
ACF
ACF is the go-to for customizing and expanding your WordPress environment. It allows you to add custom post types, fields, taxonomies and more. This is how you really get the most out of the CMS.
