My approach to UI/UX comes from designing both marketing websites and more product-driven experiences. Working on application concepts and building Home Service Growth pushed me beyond visual design and into questions about user flow, information hierarchy, interaction patterns, friction, onboarding, and what a person needs to understand at each step in order to keep moving.
I have also learned firsthand that more functionality does not automatically create a better experience. A product can become less useful when too many features, options, or decisions get in the way of the user’s actual goal. I try to simplify interfaces around the actions that matter most and design experiences that feel clear, intentional, and easy to use.
